Overview

The Go Adventure Day Pass at Montana de Fuego Resort provides an awesome full day of activities. Imagine tubing a jungle river, going horseback riding to the base of giant Arenal Volcano! Add to that ziplining through the jungle and soaking in thermal hot springs! Your Day Pass includes tubing, horseback riding plus ziplining and hot springs for a fun filled day of epic adventures. Please note the order of the activities can change depending on the operation and logistics for the day

The day begins with a transfer to the Montana de Fuego Resort from your local area hotel. When you arrive you'll go tubing down the Rio Arenal, horseback riding to the volcano and afterwards you will go on Canopy Ziplining. You will meet with the original descendants of the area on the Maleku Indigenous Experience, You'll also relax in the resort's thermal Hot Springs. During the day, lunch will be provided.

The tubing tour down the Rio Arenal typically offers class I and II rapids. Tubing lasts about 90 minutes and then, similar to the zipline tour, many elect to do a rappel afterwards.

The horseback riding tour offers a choice to go either to the Arenal Volcano through private fields in front of the magnificent volcano or, after passing through the fields, down along the Arenal River riding through the rainforest.

The canopy zipline tour is performed between a total of 13 platforms on 9 cables near the Rio Arenal. After flying high it will be time to descend and what better way to do it than rappelling 50 meters down a riverbank?!

The Maleku Indians were the original inhabitants of the Arenal Volcano area. Although their numbers have greatly diminished, they have kept their traditions alive and strong. You will learn about these fascinating, nature honoring people, their customs and lifestyle, during the Maleku Indigenous Experience.

You will also have access to the resort's relaxing hot springs. The thermal heated mineral rich waters are pumped in from the base of the volcano for your enjoyment.

Not to be forgotten, lunch will be served during this awesome day of adventures as well. After a full day of excitement, enjoyment and relaxation you will be returned back to your local hotel.

The Go Adventures Day Pass usually lasts around 8 hours though this is subject to change for a variety of factors beyond our control. This fun filled day of adventure includes transportation, guide, entrance fee, lunch, and equipment.

Loved the Zip lines and Horseback ride was special. The tubing was a little sketchy with unexpected level three and four rapids.

This was SUPER fun. Memo and the other guys were nice and encouraging. My sister and I wasn't originally wasn't going to do the ziplining, but they made us feel super safe the entire time. It turned out to be one of my favorite tours. The horseback riding with Alex was awesome also. He told us so much about the area and guided my horse the entire time. LOL. That was scarier than the zip lines. I gained so much knowledge from him. Super sweet! The local hotel for lunch was nice as well. The FOOD!
