When transportation is added, it takes approximately four hours by ground (from San Jose, other destinations will vary) and another 1 - 1.5 hours by boat (25-pound luggage per person weight limit). Please also note that the entrance fee to Tortuguero National Park ($17 per adult, $5 for kids ages 5 - 11, fee for younger children - subject to change) and the Turtle Museum ($2 per person - subject to change) are NOT included.
