A guided aerial tram tour at the park can be arranged to observe the different ecosystems and inhabitants found as the elevation transitions from lowlands to upper highlands. Over 90% of the park features ancient primary forests. Due to lack of existing roads, the Caribbean coast is not easily accessed from Guapiles.
