Beautiful place, we were only there 2 nights and didn’t have a car, but if we go again we’d explore more, we didn’t realize how many more restaurants were in walking distance. The restaurants are close by, wear good walking shoes and wear dry wear clothing for your walk… it’s very hot there.

This was an amazing stay and beyond a 10. Staff - all of them - were so kind and helpful. Apparently, breakfast was included. We didn't know until our last day. But that was okay because we had a wonderful breakfast each day down the beach.

The beach felt private, it was great to be in a more remote area, yet, 10 minutes Uber ride away to more restaurant and shops, exactly what we wanted

The resort was very clean. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. I can’t say that for the bartender. It took a long time to order and get our drinks. It was even harder to get a second drink and it wasn’t even busy. The food and drinks were good when we final got them. The room and view was beautiful.

Lovely hotel but too expensive for us. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the benefits of suite we were allocated. Strange that booking didn't include breakfast.

The pullout sofa was non-functional, but the staff replaced it as soon as they could and were very helpful.

Food wasn’t good (desserts were good though); beach wasn’t nice and their setup for chairs was poor. Door lock was broken and window in bathroom didn’t have a lock

This was my least favorite stop. I would have preferred something near more to do. The closest town was very small and only had repetitive shops... not too exciting. Needing something else to do we went to the animal sanctuary one afternoon, which was a $90 drive, and we were not informed when it was recommended that they closed so early so we went all the way not even having time to go to the beach so it was a huge disappointment. The food was not great at the hotel either. I would not recommend Playa Hermosa to someone asking for my recommendation.

It was great to end our trip at a beachfront hotel, but the hotel is next to a public parking lot, which means that many people were setting-up near the hotel. This included a vendor blaring Reggaeton and the hotel staff seemed unwilling or unable to do much about it (it is a public beach). Fortunately, the vendor left on Sunday and the rest of our stay was peaceful. The breakfast buffet was not included and did not appear worth the $16 they were charging. We ordered room service one night and had a snack on the beach. These were good, but not great, and were an okay value. The hotel is not convenient to grocery stores and there was (reportedly) only one ATM nearby. The hotel had a large parking lot, and I would recommend a car to anyone staying here for most/all of their holiday. Our room was huge, with separate sleeping and sitting areas, and a private balcony. The room had refrigerator and a coffee maker, and the restaurant provided coffee free-of-charge. The room was also clean and well-finished.

Wonderful place....would be happy to go there again. Ocean front room made a big difference....not sure we would have liked it as much if we had a garden room. Because their location is remote, it would have been nice if they had a small shop to buy snacks/ drinks/ etc....no shops very close by. Small not very important detail.

Carlos at this hotel was the best!!! He was the best server! Food and drink prices at this hotel were so much better. Food was delicious. Beautiful property. We enjoyed the howler monkeys and the beach. And when my husband and son caught mahi-mahi on their fishing trip the resort cooked a delicious meal with the fish!!

Don't know value because haven't looked back at pricing details of itinerary, and maybe you never provided them! If you have that info I'd like to get it. Our time at Bosque del Mar was great! Beautiful room, really good food, responsive staff...would recommend to anyone.

The hotel was really fantastic, especially the proximity to the ocean and the beautiful pool. The rooms were great. Restaurant staff was great. The food was a bit expensive. I thought the housekeeping service could have been better. They made the beds and provided new towels but otherwise did not tidy up the rooms. I had to tidy the rooms everyday. Other than that, one of the best hotels with the best location I have ever stayed at.

This hotel is a hidden gem - beautiful environment, rooms, beach, etc. Wish we would have spent another night here rather than in Tamarindo. Relaxing, clean, tropical - and the drinks were excellent!

This place was beyond our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is the backpack hustlers on the beach don't stop bothering you sometimes even after you have said no or have already purchased from them.
