We absolutely loved it here. The front desk staff were extremely helpful.

Our room was set-up wonderfully. The kids had their own room and beds and we had a nice patio with a personal pool and hammock. The room did feel very humid though. We ate at the pool bar and the food was good. The pool was wonderful. So warm, which is what I love. The staff at the pool bar and reception area were so nice and in the morning, one of the bellhops took us down a path and showed us a toucan and helped us try to find a sloth. He also told us some interesting facts about Costa Rica.

Good hotel. Very scenic. Good pool. Very courteous staff. Enjoyed our stay

Great customer service

This hotel was even better! We had a beautiful room and a waterfall to take showers in! We LOVED our time here. I got an amazing massage - the mountain paradise package - it was out of this world!

Nice setting. Private pool was awesome. Hotel staff was very nice, but one of he staff was quite pushy in wanting us to sign up for night tour.

A bit large for me with slightly odd style and expensive average food. Good base to enjoy locality. Wonderful view of volcano

The staff was exceptional but the hotel had NO storage, was extremely dark, I would call the room "cheesy or corny" and a bit dated. Good was pretty good and willing to help with our dietary needs.

This hotel has a neat atmosphere which we liked but the staff seems a little disengaged. The price to get to and from the hotel is quite high but that seems to be the same rate as the taxi so I guess that is just the going rate. The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the room whereas my daughter felt it a little rustic. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was good. The landscaping was very pretty.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and the pool was nice but the whole place was a bit outdated and there was nothing to do except sit in the pool and drink. The food was also mediocre.

02/16/2016

this was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been to the only down fall to this place was the menu the food was great but you could have used more choices on the menu but a cab ride to town is only a 10 minute tripe away. other then that they place is amazing and you can't beat the views.

Really enjoyed this hotel - greeted well and enjoyed the pool with its warm waterfalls. Loved the setting. Restaurant was disappointing as what was served was not what I had ordered.

Gorgeous hotel with exceptional amenities. Restaurant was a bit disappointing - average food and overpriced. We had much better food at local sodas that our driver recommended (such as Snappers in La Fortuna.)

I loved this hotel and the way the jungle foliage is all around and the staff was very friendly. it may not have had a hot spring, but the pool felt just like one!

The twin bed I had was not comfortable at all but everything else was amazing!!!!!

Super place people very receptive and professional

08/22/2015

The property has ton of Natural beauty and the staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Excellent food, staff and accommodation. I'd tell others to stay there, and we appreciated the recommendation from you. Only issue, Internet connection is spotty and keeps dropping.

The Mountain Paradise hotel was beautiful and roomy. The bungalow was very unexpected for the price. We enjoyed having a heated pool as well. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room would turn off after a few hours resulting in us getting up in the middle of the night twice to turn back on. The on-site restaurant was OK. The staff was very professional and helpful. We asked maintenance to help us with the air conditioning and a man was there almost immediately to help but we could not adequately explain the problem so I do not want to be harsh.

The Jacuzzi on our patio didn't work properly. The staff did try to fix it. The hotel dinner menu was overpriced and so so as far as items and taste. Some of the items were frozen. Breakfast was good. The snack menu at the bar was better. The alcohol choice was not great. Low quality. No top shelf choices available. The landscaping and serene/romantic vibe of the place was outstanding. So many humming birds and flora. It got expensive having to take cab rides to town for 12$ each way but that's not the hotel's fault. Just something I would have liked to know ahead of time.
