this is an excellent place to stay. it is within walking distance from downtown and shopping/restaurants.

Hotel Restaurant was not quite up to expectations but the morning breakfast was fine and and staff was spectacular! This was our favorite hotel, the pool was magnificent and the grounds amazing.

Lovely hotel - dinner v pricey and some areas a little tired but central, lovely gardens and great service. Trips from hotel v expensive

This was by far the best place we stayed in!! Excellent staff, service and food.

Small and personal. Very good.

The food at the hotel wasn't too great but otherwise we had a great stay.

My only disappointment is that we did not stay longer. Would have enjoyed a few more days. Jeffry (at the bar and breakfast service) deserves many accolades. A very peaceful and quiet environment. Excellent location to town.

Hotel was very nice. The hotel restaurant was not very good.

Hotel was very nice, staff was nice, the restaurant was a bit overpriced.

Without a doubt my favorite hotel in Costa Rica. Absolutely beautiful grounds, spotless rooms and the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was included each morning and was cooked to order. We ended up eating lunch and dinner there as well because we loved it so much! I really enjoyed the yoga spot off at the edge of the forest and I liked being able to walk into town (less than 10 minutes). My only wish was that we stayed longer!

really great place with great food

The room was much smaller than at Costa Verde, but it was clean & nice. The restaurant seemed much more formal & they helped teach us more Spanish. Not much to do in the town, but it was just enough time.
