Beach day at Manuel Antonio to explore on your own. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. Free days are for descriptive purposes only and do not include any services.

This Coastal Kayaking and Snorkel adventure takes you along Costa Rica’s beautiful Pacific coastline just out from Manuel Antonio beach. Transportation will be provided from your local area hotel and brought to a marina where you’ll typically board a double-seated kayak (singles are available on request). Your guide will take you to a hidden beach called Playa Biesanz where you can swim, use the provided snorkeling gear, and walk along the shore. This beach is not famous for snorkeling, but you may see colorful tropical fish and during certain times of the year, whales and dolphins have been sighted. Birding enthusiasts may want to observe island and coastal nesting sites. After paddling back to the marina, a hearty lunch will be provided. Due to the strong ocean waves and currents, experience with above seat ocean kayaks is preferred. Participants should also be reasonably physically fit. Children 7 years old and up may go but might be placed in a double kayak with an adult.
