Looking for an amazing way to spend the day? Look no further as the Club del Rio Multi-Adventure Package will undoubtedly provide one of your most memorable experiences in Costa Rica!

Located on the Rio Arenal and the massive The Springs Resort property, Club Rio delivers hot springs, jungle, wildlife, adventure and more. Despite being one of the most beautiful attractions around and passing just behind the top tourist destination in Costa Rica, the Rio Arenal is seldom visited other than by participants on this tour. This truly is a beautiful, magical place and perfect location to explore, take in and unwind for a day.

The day starts off when you are picked up at your local area hotel and brought to the Springs Resort. After checking in a shuttle will be provided down the hill to the river and club.

The Club Rio Adventure Pass includes access to thermal river pools, hiking trails, visit to the Jungle Cat and Wildlife Sanctuary, Costa Rican style lunch and your choice of two of the following activities: River Tubing on the Rio Arenal, Inflatable Kayaks on the Rio Arenal, Horseback Riding, Wildlife Sactuary Tour, Climbing and Rappel Wall, Guided Nature Tour. Each of the latter tours is with a guide.

The Kayaking and Tubing tours are on the Rio Arenal. This is usually a slower paced, class I and II river, but can rise and be more exciting at times. The Horseback Riding tour is along the grounds and trails along the river. The guided Nature tour is along trails in the same area and can yield sightings of monkeys, sloths, toucans, iguanas and more. The Climbing and Rappelling wall is manmade and a great experience for adventurers.

Lunch is served at the Club Rio Restaurant. Located next to the Rio Arenal, the open air restaurant provides great views while serving authentic Costa Rican dishes.

Transportation will be provided back to your hotel after the tour which usually lasts approximately 5 – 7 hours. This is a great tour for anybody looking for a day of adventure, exploration and to unwind in hot springs.

We did the horseback riding and the river tubing tours. The horseback riding was nerve-wrecking, but the guides were great! They offered to take pictures, they helped us on and off the horse, and they corrected our posture when riding. I will probably never go horseback riding again due to how fast and large the horses were. But if you like riding horses, you will enjoy the tour. The river tubing was so much fun!! They let you go down the river twice. They're are tons of guides, if you're nervous like me. The water isn't really that deep and the guides help you if you get stuck or if your tube flips.

The Spring is magnificent and spending the day there rafting and seeing the animals in refuge was wonderful.

This was a great package especially since there was almost no one there due to the rainy season. Having to wait for so long in between transfers, etc. was really the only downside. Lunch was probably the best we had on the trip. It was raining when we went to see the animals so it would be nice if they had umbrellas or something available. Access to The Springs resort being included was awesome we spent all day there.

The guides were awesome and made the experience more fun and special.
