The Arboreal Challenge Course at Treetopia Park combines heights, balance, movement, and adrenaline in an exciting adventure designed for those who want to challenge themselves while surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Monteverde.

This approximately 90-minute adventure takes you high into the forest canopy, where every activity brings a different challenge. From pedaling through the trees on a zipline bike to crossing suspended obstacles and taking controlled jumps from the treetops, the course is designed to test both your physical abilities and your determination.

One of the highlights is the 656-foot zipline bike, where you pedal your way through the forest while suspended high above the ground. Reaching heights of up to 98 feet, this unique activity combines balance and coordination with an unforgettable aerial view of the cloud forest.

The adventure continues with tree-climbing challenges that take you approximately 40 feet above the ground. Once you reach the top, you can experience a controlled descent that adds another exciting element to the course. Along the way, you’ll also encounter four different monkey bridges, each offering a fun test of balance, agility, and confidence.

For those looking for an extra rush of adrenaline, the course features a 43-foot free jump from the trees. The experience finishes with the iconic 66-foot Tarzan Swing, sending you soaring through the misty atmosphere of the cloud forest before returning safely to the ground.

More than a collection of exciting activities, the Arboreal Challenge Course is an experience that encourages you to push your limits, overcome challenges, and enjoy the forest from above. Each stage requires a combination of concentration, coordination, and courage, making the adventure as mentally engaging as it is physically exciting.

Your safety remains an essential part of the experience. The course is operated with specialized equipment that is regularly maintained, and certified guides accompany participants throughout the adventure. Their role is to provide guidance, support, and safety assistance while helping you make the most of every activity.

The experience is available at four different times each day: 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, making it easy to fit this adventure into your Monteverde itinerary.

Participants must meet certain requirements to take part in the course. The minimum requirements include 44 pounds in weight and 4.2 feet in height, while the maximum weight is 242 pounds (110 kg) and the maximum waist measurement is 46 inches. Participants should also be prepared for moderate physical activity and wear closed-toe shoes.
