White Water Tubing Adventure

At Rio Perdido, one of the most beloved activities is the exhilarating White Water Tubing adventure. This popular experience takes guests on a thrilling journey through over a mile of breathtaking canyon landscape, where they'll encounter narrow rock walls and rolling whitewater. Along the way, adventurers can keep an eye out for the hot waterspouts and a variety of elusive wildlife, including sphiggurus, trogons, tiger herons, howler and white-faced capuchin monkeys, bats, and even the possibility of spotting large cats if luck is on their side.

While most of the course offers a leisurely float through the canyon, it's far from a lazy river experience. Adrenaline-seekers will encounter several hundred yards of slides and rapids, adding an exciting twist that appeals to both adventurous first-timers and families with older children.

The White Water Tubing adventure operates daily at 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM, although availability is subject to weather conditions, particularly during the Green Season from May to November. The duration of the experience is approximately one hour, and the difficulty level varies depending on the season. During the Dry Season, it is considered intermediate, while during the Rainy Season, it is classified as advanced. The minimum age requirement is 12 years old, and participants should have basic swimming skills. Weight restrictions apply, with a maximum weight of 130 kg and height requirements of 1.30 mts during the Dry Season and 1.40 mts during the Rainy Season.
