Three nights at Nayara Gardens bring you to Arenal, where tropical gardens and the volcano’s striking silhouette set the scene for discovery. A naturalist leads your rainforest hike beneath the volcano, sharing its history and helping you notice the wildlife around you. Afterwards, Tabacon’s volcanic hot springs provide a wonderfully different way to experience the landscape: warm waters winding through gardens and forest, followed by dinner. Your selected Caño Negro riverboat safari provides another perspective on northern Costa Rica: watch the banks for wildlife with your guide. Lunch and a cultural tasting are included. Río Balsa rafting remains a separately selectable alternative to this outing.

The journey then slows beside Papagayo Bay on the northwest Pacific coast. Three nights at adults-only Secrets Papagayo Resort & Spa include two full days without scheduled outings—time for the pools, coastal scenery and being together. The all-inclusive stay brings meals and drinks into this relaxed seaside chapter.

Xandari Resort and Spa provides a memorable final night in Alajuela. Its gardens, pool and expansive Central Valley setting make a peaceful close to the vacation before your private transfer to SJO.

The next day, we’ll provide a private transfer back to the airport for your flight home.

Villa Blanca begins the vacation in the cloud-forest setting near San Ramon and San Lorenzo, with an open day to enjoy the stay. Three Nayara nights move into Arenal’s warmer rainforest for the volcano-and-Tabacon outing and a Caño Negro riverboat safari. The last coastal chapter spends three nights at adults-only Secrets Papagayo, with two open days for the confirmed all-inclusive stay. Xandari in Alajuela supplies the final overnight before departure. This progression favors contrasting stays and time together, with two guided Arenal outings instead of an excursion every day.
