Find your place to stay
Los Altos Resort gives a Manuel Antonio stay space to unfold in condo-style residences with kitchens and separate bedrooms. Preserve trails, an infinity pool, ocean-view jacuzzis and Orquidea Spa make time on site appealing. A scheduled shuttle serves the beach below. Townhouses and villas have an October 1–31, 2026 closure; confirm current operations and your accommodation for the intended dates.
At Los Altos Resort, the Manuel Antonio hillside opens into a stay with more space: separate bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens, surrounded by tropical forest. Contemporary Balinese-inspired styling gives the residences their character, while the preserve below invites you beyond the balcony. Come for the combination of a condo-style base and time among the trees.
Well-marked trails explore the forest preserve, where toucans, monkeys and sloths are regular visitors. The beach at its base is framed by jungle-covered hills and rock formations. A scheduled shuttle runs between the resort and this beach throughout the day. The main beach area is a short drive away, while cafes, restaurants and spas near the resort are within walking distance.
The infinity pool follows the hillside, with a lounge area and a drink-and-snack bar for an unhurried afternoon. Just below, two heated jacuzzis look toward the ocean. You can return from the preserve for a swim or give the changing outlook a little more time before dinner; the hotel’s leisure spaces belong to the landscape as much as the day’s excursions do.
Dining and shared spaces help a condo-style stay feel like a resort holiday. A restaurant and bar give you an alternative to cooking in your residence, while the fitness center, yoga platform and gaming room provide different ways to spend time together or keep your own routine. Air conditioning, ceiling fans and cable television bring familiar comforts to the residences. WiFi is available in select public areas and rooms, so confirm the connection in your chosen accommodation if it is important to the trip.
Orquidea Spa, near the infinity pool, pairs rainforest and ocean outlooks with treatments, therapies and facials. Couples sessions provide another way to enjoy time together within the resort. It is an appealing counterpoint to a day on the forest trails, particularly when you want the hotel itself to hold a generous part of the vacation.
The penthouse is a distinctive choice for a larger party, spanning three levels and 4,200 square feet, with up to four bedrooms for eight guests. Other residences have one-, two- or three-bedroom configurations. The lower Rainforest Suites pair garden and forest views with partial ocean vistas, while higher Treetop and Panoramic options bring more of the coastline into view. Size and outlook are both worth weighing: a spacious shared living room, separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen can change how families and friends enjoy their downtime.
Beyond the preserve, Manuel Antonio offers more ways to see the forest and coast. Guided hikes in Manuel Antonio National Park and safari cruises through the Damas Island Estuary invite wildlife exploration; surfing lessons, parasailing and offshore sportfishing keep the Pacific central. Ziplining and river rafting add another level of activity. Shuttles to Manuel Antonio are also available; confirm arrangements for the outing you have in mind.
Townhouses and villas are closed from October 1 to October 31, 2026.

The penthouse was amazing and was so comfortable for our family. The staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the location of this hotel because we could walk to restaurants that were close by.

Beach was a distance from hotel...van was not available to take us down to beach but did pick us up. No chairs or towels available at beach. Pool was lovely. Staff was helpful.

Initially was disappointed with the construction happening at the entrance...I had asked about any construction and was surprised to see it. Noise affected the quiet a bit, but we still overall loved the place.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff were very pleasant.

Hotel is typical upper-end condo. Knowing have visited Maharashtra and hidden canopy treehouse and seeing what is in/around the los altos, would not visit this location in the future.

Amazing to have a full apartment. The restaurant was pretty basic and the pool staff were slow and not very attentive. However, the overall place was superb.
The accommodations were excellent....
I had expectations that we could actually go to the beach from the hotel, and the public beach was 15 min away and the very nice beach is in the national park and not easy to get to. It was gorgeous and fine once I changed my expectations, but it would have been good to know that basically we were going to be at the pool, overlooking the ocean.
Convenient location close to nice restaurants.
There wasn't a person at the desk to check us out when we left at 4:15am, so we we unable to settle our bill. We were very impressed with the location, beach, pool, and room, and their dedication to conservation and preservation of the environment.
