Food at on-site restaurants wasn't great but lots of good local places nearby. Movies shown at night were a nice bonus.
Find your place to stay
Nestled on Manuel Antonio’s rainforest-covered hillside, Si Como No Resort and Spa offers an eco-friendly retreat with captivating ocean and jungle views. Guests can enjoy diverse dining options, a refreshing pool with a swim-up bar, and opportunities to observe local wildlife from the property. While the beach is not within walking distance, a complimentary scheduled shuttle provides convenient access to the coast and Manuel Antonio National Park. Rooms feature tropical character, private balconies with varying views, and essential comforts, though in-room televisions are not provided.
Ocean and jungle views shape the day at Si Como No Resort and Spa. On Manuel Antonio’s rainforest-covered hillside, this eco-friendly resort gives you places to dine, swim and unwind while the landscape remains close at hand. Tropical gardens and the surrounding trees bring opportunities to watch wildlife without making every hour an excursion.
The beach is not within walking distance. A complimentary scheduled shuttle takes guests to the beach area, making it possible to enjoy the coast, plan a visit to Manuel Antonio National Park and return to the hill.
At the pool, the lounge area, swim-up bar and waterslide give an afternoon several possibilities. Tropical gardens and dense jungle surround the resort, with opportunities to spot wildlife from rooms and common areas. The ocean and rainforest outlooks make the scenery part of time spent at the property.
Claro Que Seafood Grill and Wine Bar is the more upscale choice, pairing fresh seafood and wine with a jungle-view terrace. Rico Tico Jungle Grill offers a more casual meal in a canopied space near the pool, with international and Costa Rican dishes and jungle-and-ocean outlooks. You can choose the mood of the evening without leaving the resort.
The rooms have a tropical character, and a balcony can become part of the morning. Superior Rooms have balconies or terraces with partial ocean and jungle views; Deluxe Rooms look across the ocean and rainforest through large windows and private balconies. Deluxe Plus rooms are twice the size of the preceding room categories and add a private balcony with sweeping views. The Honeymoon Suite combines its private balcony outlook with a Jacuzzi and a spacious living room.
The room comforts include air conditioning, ceiling fans, a mini-refrigerator, safe and telephone. There are no in-room televisions, so choose Si Como No with that quieter tropical rhythm in mind. WiFi is available in select public areas, and the private movie theater provides an alternative entertainment option away from your room.
Harmony Spa’s treatment choice runs from massages and facials to volcanic mud, wraps and scrubs, using natural ingredients whenever possible. The Greentique Wildlife Refuge and Butterfly Atrium give photographers another reason to spend time at the property, with access charged separately. Gardens and trails extend the connection to the surrounding jungle.
For coastal outings, catamaran cruises and ocean kayaking take you past the Central Pacific coastline and nearby islands. A Damas Island Estuary riverboat safari offers opportunities to see crocodiles, monkeys or anteaters, while a guided national park visit brings a chance to look for monkeys and sloths. Ziplining, whitewater rafting and canyoneering add more active options before you return to the hillside.

Our room was nice and spacious but the furniture is very dated. The chairs on our balcony were old and scratchy to sit on. Breakfast that was included was very good.
Kimberly M.

Ronald was fantastic. He really made our trip.

Beautiful hotel. Loved it

The room looked a little run down/outdated and like it needed a little TLC. The painting hanging on the wall was peeling and hanging down from the frame. The lock on the sliding patio door was falling off and there were huge gaps around the main door frame, so lots of light came in at night. Overall not a bad experience, but I would probably not stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed seeing monkeys and lizards right on the hotel grounds.

Great view, great service and excellent stay!

Great hillside hotel (lots of stairs) with a nice swim up pool bar and theater. Our room smelled musty but was very clean. Staff was very helpful in recommending nearby restaurants.
Toni S.
Too many steps to the dining rooms and pools. But the place was beautiful.

This hotel is out dated. Keys for hotel rooms??? Not a lot of outlets. Our room was low on property and we had barely a view of ocean. Music from neighboring hotel was problematic for special needs son. Staff very accommodating, friendly, went above and beyond to see to our comfort.

Went the extra mile when setting up guides and cooking our catch from the charter boat at very reasonable price.

LOVED this place! The best! The resort is beautiful with comfortable, clean rooms with great views. The food was very good and it was a bonus having free shuttle service to the beach. I would highly recommend this place and would come again.

Lobby staff was very helpful and moved our room (to a better view). Pool bartender was very helpful and very fun to hang out with. Views were incredible everywhere!
