We stated in La Casita, which consisted of three separate bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a porch. It was a perfect setup for our family of five. The included breakfast was decent but not exceptional. The service was sometimes very slow, even for Tico Time, but the staff were courteous. The hot springs were amazing! Crystal clear waters with no odors. The temps varied, so people could pick their pool of choice. There was also a cool off pool and outdoor shower next to the hot springs. The on-site bar at the springs provided exceptional service and one of the bartenders, Shelly, even helped me spot the sloth who lives on the grounds! The working farm was a fun addition. Even though we don’t have young kids, it was great seeing the peacocks, chickens, pigs, and horses. The garden was also beautiful. We did have a large cockroach in our room once, but honestly that wasn’t a huge deal. This is the rainforest after all, and such things are to be expected occasionally. Pura Vida!

Wow! Loved this hotel. Felt relaxed and pampered. Truly kind people. The hot springs were so relaxing. And the chocolate massage was my favorite thing of all. Not to mention the the nice men who took time to show us the animals and resident sloths.

Beautiful property! Excellent Staff. Food was delicious. The Hot springs were great after a long day. Very peaceful unlike many of the other packed ones we saw along the way. Beds were very hard. But we found that to be the case in all of the hotels.
