Find your place to stay
The Springs Resort offers a luxurious escape in Arenal, featuring natural and designed hot springs pools nestled within tropical gardens and jungle, all with captivating Arenal Volcano views. Guests can indulge in on-site dining, a spa, and a bar, creating a complete resort experience. Accommodations range from comfortable guest rooms to multi-room suites, equipped with modern comforts like AC and cable TV. Located approximately 25 minutes from La Fortuna, it's an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and immersive relaxation.
At The Springs Resort, thermal water and Arenal Volcano views give an afternoon its own possibilities. Natural hot springs and designed hot-springs pools are scattered through the grounds, inviting you to explore before choosing where to settle in. Tropical gardens and the surrounding jungle add interest along the way, with opportunities to watch for wildlife as you move around the property. Carry a camera or binoculars and let a walk between the pools become a small outing of its own.
Leave space for the resort itself in your itinerary. A morning adventure can give way to a warm soak, time at the spa or a meal at the restaurant, with the bar providing another option for the evening. The pleasure is having several ways to slow down when you return, rather than treating the hotel simply as the end of the day's activities.
Guest rooms and multi-room suites give couples and larger parties different ways to enjoy the stay. Comfortable bedding, generous bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite or cable television and a safe bring familiar comforts into the setting. Compare the individual room details for the layout and outdoor space that best fit your group, especially when separate bedrooms or a living area matter.
Internet service is available, but an additional fee may apply depending on your plan. The detailed room amenities identify the features of each category; a resort with this breadth of accommodation rewards a little care in the choice. Let the room support how you want to spend time together between outings.
Club del Rio is optional and available for an additional discounted charge.
The Club Rio Outdoor Center and Wildlife Preserve adds time on the river and trails to a resort stay. Choose from whitewater tubing, kayaking, horseback riding, nature tours, hiking, rock climbing, rappelling, swimming, basic fishing and a visit to the animal rescue center Wildlife Preserve. Activities are not included with your hotel stay. Please note that these activities may require an additional fee unless otherwise specified.
The Springs is approximately 25 minutes from La Fortuna town center, with no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Use the hotel's location map to place the resort within your plans. Make town time an outing and enjoy the resort's dining when you want to stay on site. That distance is part of the choice: the appeal here is a stay centered on the grounds, warm pools and volcano outlook.
For travelers who want to enjoy Arenal's adventures and still devote time to their hotel, The Springs provides a compelling rhythm. Head out when the region calls, return for a soak and let the quieter hours become part of the experience.

The room and hot springs pools were top rate! We loved our view of Arenal, especially when it came out with a rainbow! For our family, this was a luxurious couple of days. The extra meals and activities were pricey.
We loved this resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate. the restaurants had great food and the rafting and sanctuary at the resort were also nice. We would definitely stay here again. We saw several sloths and toucans on the property and the staff even found binoculars for us when animals were present.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 3. Our 18 year old son loved the pool (as we did). Perfect place to stay - ONLY issue was that the road to the hotel is a bit of a challenge

Truly outstanding! We liked the Springs even better than the Four Seasons Costa Rica.

Enjoyed Nayara better when we were in Costa Rica 2 years ago, but The Springs was nice too.
We had a wonderful time at the resort. The accommodations were comfortable for a family of four. The breakfast buffet was great but it was not included with our room rate. The hot springs were perfect - even in the rain. We also liked the fact that the hotel doesn't have that many rooms so the pools and restaurants don't feel crowded. I understand they are building another wing so this may change. They have a fantastic game room for the kids. The gym and spa were also nice.
this place is amazing - absolutely immaculate and our room was beautiful! staff spoke very good English and were very helpful didn't have enough time to utilize the activities at Club Rio due to delays in return from tour
