Another great hotel!!!! The walking path they have was amazing, hotel layout great, and the staff was stellar. One employee, David, really stood out in being one of the happiest people we've ever met and he did a great job making sure we were taken care of at meals. We'd go back without hesitation.
Very impressive green hotel that retains lots of small inn charm with lots of whimsical artwork. This was my favorite. Only criticism is spring-loaded doors and other things that made noise with wind.
Lovely different location, lots of nice places to walk to and explore and eat.
Very nice hotel that is within walking distance to the small town.
We had thought that Arenal was great but then Poco a Poco raised that up a but with a jacuzzi in the room! Out of anyone's control but it was so windy and a lot of branches and such fell on our room roof making it loud at times but fantastic grounds and staff!
This is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have ever seen and staff was very friendly!
Enjoyed this hotel as well. The pools were nice and the bartender very personable. All the staff was friendly as well.
My family and I were blown away by the attention to detail on every square inch of the grounds at Poco A Poco! Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and alive. Little fire pits to stay warm on a chilly rainy night and read a book, large jacuzzi to chill with family and newly-made friends, and delicious on-site breakfast with made-to-order omelets, fresh local fruit, and much more in a beautiful setting to start your day. Location was perfect - very close to the center of town with plenty of shopping and local restaurants.
Another hotel where you can walk around town. This one was close enough to walk to so raided all the gift shops!
Hotel was great location was great
Excellent service, food, location, staff.
This was our favorite hotel on the trip
Excellent service, accomdations, and food!
Great place, another very good breakfast.
Quiet comfortable hotel with a good restaurant. A good place to relax after a day of traveling or hiking.
Staff was fantastic, especially the front desk manager/clerk, Axel, who was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us some great tips on where to go and what to do. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice little balcony where we could dry some of our wet clothes. We really enjoyed the little hiking trail around the property, and the sunset views from the dining veranda, where happy hour was held, couldn't be beat. It's also where we had breakfast each day, which was outstanding.
Great location and lovely facilities. The front desk helped us plan a last minute excursion. We enjoyed our bartender as well.
What a beautiful hotel and location.
Resort was quite posh -- a little posher than we had expected or wanted. Resort was beautiful and well maintained. Lovely trail around the grounds. We ate at the resort restaurant the first night -- food was excellent but limited menu. The posted menus for the informal dining didn't have adequate GF options. We ended up eating outside the resort for the rest of our stay. Restaurants and shopping right outside the resort. Steep walk (but the whole area is mountainous) into town center that was delightful.
The room was nice, big draw back our view was the rooftop of the hotel.
Staff were wonderful
Fab hotel and great location near the town.
Lovely place and good food at breakfast. We enjoyed walking the trail to look for birds and I used the pool. We liked how close it was to town
