Hotel Leyenda

The Leyenda Hotel provides quality lodging in Carrillo, two kilometers from the main beach. Two kilometers away, Playa Carrillo is one of the of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific. Palm trees separate the beach from the road. The local community has added some picnic tables. The beach is ideal for swimming, boogie boarding, and when the tide is right, surfing. Hotel Leyenda offers their guests an exclusive beach service, Super Trailer, that has a portable bathroom and rinse shower, beach chairs and tables, hammocks, and food from the hotel restaurant.

Aside from the beach, there is plenty to do in the Carrillo and Samara area. Surf lessons are offered daily and stand up paddleboarding is very popular. Nighttime turtle nesting tours to Camaronal or Ostional are a lot of fun from June through October. The Kayaking trip to Isla Chora is also a lot of fun. When the water is clear, you can snorkel there as well.

Days and evenings are usually quiet at the hotel. The large swimming pool is perfect for adults, while the kids swimming pool is ideal for the little ones. The restaurant offers an excellent selection of national and international dishes. The sports bar offers tropical drinks and a fine selection from their wine cellar.
