Samara Palm Lodge

The lodge is within a long walk of Samara downtown and the beach area. The town offers a variety of small shops and restaurants. The beach has small waves, perfect for swimming or learning how to surf when the tide is right. Playa Carrillo is a few minutes drive down the road. Carrillo one of the most beautiful beaches on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The palm-studded beach is ideal for swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing at high tide.

The villages and beaches are a lot of fun, but you may want to add an activity or two while enjoying the days. Paddling to Isla Chora by kayak is a great day trip. When the water is clear, you can also enjoy snorkeling around the island. We also offer a fun day trip that combines dolphin watching, snorkeling, and fishing. This tour is an unforgettable experience along the scenic Nicoya coast. River kayaking on the Ora River is a wonderful way to see animals in a natural setting.

Time at the lodge is typically quiet and relaxing. The swimming pool is surrounded by tropical gardens making it an idyllic setting to take a break and catch some rays. Breakfast is served in the lounge area from 7 - 9 am. After that, guests can enjoy it as they please, with drinks available. After 6 pm, the lounge changes to the Honesty Bar concept.
