Although only an overnight stop on the way to Drake Bay, this was our first experience with a coastal ecolodge. It is a very nice property, but felt a bit dangerous to negotiate the many stairs and pebbled walkways. While we were there another guest fell in the natural pool and broke a limb. The luxurious rusticity of this property I think catches guests off guard. Food in the restaurant was average to above average and the surroundings pleasant. My rating probably reflects a direct comparison to Trogon Lodge, an entirely different experience.

Lovely setting, comfortable rooms, fun staff and good food at restaurant where we ate every meal since we had no car to go elsewhere.
