Canopy Zipline - Athica

Experience the treetops of the rainforest from a different perspective on the Athica Canopy Zipline tour.  This fast-paced adventure tour will allow you to soar through the jungle canopy at speeds up to 60 km per hour!

The tour starts off with a transfer from your local area hotel to the park.  Your guides will then suit you up with your harness, helmet and safety gear and provide a brief safety lesson.

The Athica Canopy Zipline Park includes approximately 3 km of galvanized stainless steel zipline cables.  The cables are hung through the forest treetops between 16 platforms.   The 8 ziplines range in distance from 80 – 750 meters with an average height of 38 meters!  Several of the platforms are built into enormous trees allowing you to view the forest from an amazing perspective. 

Athica also offers a towering 8 meter high Tarzan Swing!  Brace yourself for the coolest jungle swing you will ever see.  This is not for the faint of heart!  Of course, you can skip this portion of the tour and watch the others if you prefer.

This is a fast paced adventure tour which requires some hiking and climbing.  It is best suited for children 5 years and older and adults up to 70 years.

After the adventure you will be returned to your local area hotel.  In total the tour lasts around 3 hours including transfers, though this is subject to change.
