The Sky Tram tour is a unique way to observe the rainforest of the Arenal Volcano area. Imagine soaring through the tree tops on a gondola as you observe flora and fauna.
The tour begins with a transfer from your local area hotel. The Sky Tram facilities are located on the opposite side of the volcano than most area hotels. On the way, you will pass by the iconic volcano, which is magnificent on clear days.
When you arrive at the facilities you will be assigned with a guide who will accompany you on the gondola ride up the mountain. The gondolas are handicap accessible making this a perfect tour for most people with disabilities. As you glide up the mountain you will be able to observe flora and fauna. The views are spectacular when weather permits. Your guide will point out any wildlife and tell you about the natural history of the area.
There is a short trail at the top for those that would like to stretch their legs and get a little closer to nature. Butterflies and hummingbirds frequent the area. Every once in a while you monkeys and other wildlife pass through. After walking around or relaxing at the top you will take the tam back down to the base.
A transfer will be provided back to your hotel after the tour. In addition to round trip transportation the Sky Tram tour includes a bilingual guide.
