The Sky Tram and Trek Canopy Zipline tour is among the most popular in the Arenal Volcano area. Imagine taking a gondola style tram to the top of the mountain and then ziplining down it!
After being picked up from your La Fortuna hotel you will take a scenic drive around Lake Arenal (from most hotels) en route to the Sky Adventures Park. When you arrive you will be sized up and fitted with the latest and safest safety equipment.
The adventure begins with the tram ride up the mountain as you pass through the rainforest canopy. With a little luck you may be able to spot wildlife, but will undoubtedly enjoy spectacular views. In total the tram goes 4,100 feet or 1,250 meters up the mountain. When you arrive at the top you will be provided a brief safety and instructional course for the zipline.
The Sky Trek Canopy Zipline is one of the most popular ziplines in the world and for good reason! As you soar from platform to platform you will zip over canyons and treetops making your way down the mountain. There are seven ziplines of varying lengths and sizes. The highest is 656 feet high and the longest is 2,493 feet long!
This is a high speed, adventurous tour. We only recommend for those that do not fear heights.
After the high flying adventure you will be returned to your Arenal area hotel. Including round trip transportation, this tour is expected to last around 4 hours though this is subject to change. This fun filled half day tour includes transportation and guide.

Loved the ziplines! First time we ever did them and it was a great experience. I was a bit nervous but the guides were excellent and I always felt safe. I wanted to go back to the top and do it all again.

7 zip lines, 5 long and fast. Great views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. But both helmet video cams stopped recording. Memory cards and photo chip were pricey. All guides were good, but Levi ? was great.

Had a great time and the experience was memorable for a first timer. Staff was extremely friendly and safety conscious. The only negative issue (which is no fault of the company) is the ride up the mountain is horrible.

Great zipline tour - high and fast with wonderful views. Would give it a ten but the first and last zipline are nothing so there are really only five good ziplines.
