Surf Lesson - Dominical Surf Adventures

Surfing is one of the most popular activities in Costa Rica because it’s a good mix of challenge, fun, and nature.

Your professional and certified instructors will provide you with high-quality surf gear, practical tips and surfing techniques during this two hour long lesson. Many people have commented about how the group class dynamic often makes for good fun and lots of laughs.

Your surf lessons will begin on a beach suitable for beginner surfing. The soft white sand, and easy waves make it the perfect place for beginner surfers to get their feet wet (no pun intended) at this fun and relaxing sport. The surfing instructors are professionals themselves and are known to be very patient, fun and friendly.

The session will start off with your instructor leading a 15 minute introduction on land, demonstrating the best ways to get up on the board, as well as paddling and turning. He or she will also offer safety tips, surfing ethics, and mention the best times to go surfing based on tidal changes. You will stay on land and master the technique before heading out into the water to put what you’ve learned into practice.

This half day surf lesson will hopefully be enough to get you comfortable on the board. Your guide will be with your group as you all head into the water so If you have any questions just raise your hand.

At some point during your surf lesson, your instructor will provide fresh fruit and bottled water to refresh and refuel before heading back into the water.
