Tropical Bird Photography includes world class photo setups designed by expert photographer. The 10 setups are positioned 360 degrees around the deck for morning and afternoon photography to guarantee optimum lighting from sunrise to sunset for both flash and natural light photography. A spacious open air covered photography deck stays comfortably cool and dry in rain or shine for outstanding photography. Over 20 species frequent the photo setups which include the Keel-billed Toucan, Collared Aracari, Montezuma Oropendola, Golden-hooded Tanager, Crimson-collared Tanager, Yellow-crowned Euphonia, Green Honeycreeper, Red-legged Honeycreeper, Black-cowled Oriole, Baltimore Oriole (September to early May), Black-cheeked Woodpecker, Buff-throated Saltator and Black-headed Saltator. Tour includes a 1.5 hour access to photo setup and convenient parking, coffee, bottled water, free Wi-Fi, and free battery charging stations.
Cancellation policy for travel dates January 01 until December 31 if cancelled greater than 24 hours in advance: 100% refund. If cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance: 0% refund.

If you want to see 20-30 species of birds up close this is a wonderful place. For someone wanting to watch and learn birds I would suggest they go here first and then to La Selva Biological Station.
