The resort caters to all ages with non-motorized water sports, kids' and teens' clubs, a spa, and a fitness center, providing a comprehensive experience without needing to leave the property for every activity. A walk from the pool to El Jobo Beach, followed by dinner at the resort, sets an appealing pace at JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort and Spa. In northwest Guanacaste, the secluded coastal setting gives an all-inclusive vacation room to slow down. Large freeform pools, the beach and dining venues keep much of the day close at hand, with meals and top-shelf cocktails part of the fixed-price experience.
Dining includes five à la carte restaurants, a grill, cafe and buffet, with five lounges and bars and 24-hour room service. The à la carte restaurants require a dress code: men should wear long dress pants, a dress shirt and dress shoes; women should wear a dress, dress pants or skirt and blouse with dress shoes. Keep clothes for those evenings alongside the essentials for the shore and pool.
Non-motorized water sports and adult resort activities provide ways to stay active, while kids and teens clubs give younger travelers their own options. A fitness center and spa add different kinds of downtime. Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort and free calls to the US, Canada and Costa Rica take care of useful connections during the stay. For families, couples and solo travelers, the attraction is having several ways to enjoy a coastal day without a separate journey for every activity.
Guanacaste excursions can include canopy ziplining, natural water-slide adventures and visits around Rincon de la Vieja or Santa Rosa national parks. Arrange those outings alongside time you wish to leave for the resort; an active day inland can be followed by dinner and a return to the coastal setting.
The accommodation brings a range of outlooks and layouts into that plan: resort, tropical, pool and ocean views, swimout choices and larger suites. Air conditioning, coffee service, mini-fridges, cable television, safes, hair dryers, irons with ironing boards and internet are among the practical comforts. All meals are included with the all-inclusive suite stays. Daily refreshed minibars, 42-inch televisions, alarm clocks with MP3 docks, bath amenities and twice-daily maid service add to the suite experience; confirm the precise services attached to the category you choose.
Furnished terraces and hot-tub choices make outdoor space worth comparing, while larger suites may add living and dining rooms or direct pool access. Decide what will matter to your party—an ocean, jungle or mountain outlook, a tropical terrace or extra room to gather—and confirm those features for the room being arranged. View and pool-access details differ, giving your accommodation choice a real part in how you will spend the hours back at the resort.

Room service menu should not be restricted. Kids were not able to get food any time if day. All the good food like pizza was only available after 11pm??

All the staff were very friendly and working VERY hard. The food in the seafood/steak restaurant was only okay. The Asian and Italian restaurants were very good.
