The Double Connecting Room includes, breakfast, air conditioning with two rooms, each with private bathroom. The larger room that includes a spacious sitting area that leads out to a private terrace located on the corner of the building overlooking Manuel Antonio National Park and the Pacific Ocean. Great hotel with SPECTACULAR views of the pacific coast. Very nice staff and the breakfast was great too! We would definitely like to come back when we visit again.

I think having better pillows would do wonders. That was the only complaint. I loved the gardens, the pool, the incredibly friendly staff and beautiful setting.

Hotel La Marisposa was a nice hotel. The best part of it was the view, overlooking the pacific ocean. The staff were friendly. I also love the location which is close to many restaurants and store. My only thing was, the hotel is a little dated. The rooms didn't have extra blanket. The blanket we used was a bit too thin, which got me sick the first night. Other than that. I loved the hotel, the view, and its amenities. It was in a quieter side, but that's okay. It's off season, and loved that we had the place all to ourselves. So it seems.

Tile floors = loud. Person in room above was walking around all night, kept us up first night. Very tired the next day.

Two nights in a row the air conditioner failed.
The chef went out of his way to accommodate my requests for gluten free meals.

The hotel, the view and the staff were awesome ! The hotel was very quiet, breakfast was amazing and especially Ceibo, the bartender, made our trip that much better !

Would come back to this hotel again. Nice staff. Good food. Good location. I lost my camera on one of the minivans to the beach and the driver was so kind to bring it back for me the next day.

The view from this hotel truly is what everyone says, amazing. The rooms were comfortable with a nice balcony. We were able to walk to restaurants and the shuttle to and from the beach was on time. The pool was our favorite part.

in Monteverde area had little lighting at night to get to and from restaurant and had dangerous concrete pavement where one could trip.Loved the other selections and choice of rooms was great

The room was not part of the hotel. The last two nights the people next to us were very loud and you could see their light through the door. Room was not comfy felt like an outcast.

Very nice room, but it had mosquitoes in it when we got there. I got a ton of bites and then asked the front desk if we could switch rooms to one without mosquitoes. They told us not to leave the doors open (which we didn't because the bugs were already there) and then came with Raid to kill the bugs.

View and location are wonderful. Our room was very dated. Appreciated the big balcony and cleanliness, but the king size bed was hard as rock. The small bed for the kids was nice and comfy. Loved the pool. Bartenders weren't the friendliest, but the view makes up for it. All other staff was very welcoming. Breakfast buffet was decent.

View great as advertised. Room though a disappointment. It was curious that the room, while large was almost devoid of furniture save for the beds. No bedside lights just a glaring fluorescent ceiling fixture. Bathroom was inferior. Perhaps we just got the one bad room but if this room was typical I could not recommend the hotel. However the view from the patio, the swimming pool, and the restaurant pretty much made up for some disappointment in the room itself. We were pleasantly surprised at how many decent restaurants were nearby and thus giving an option over eating at the hotel. Also the bus service to the beach was cheap and easy to navigate.

Fabulous views from the room! Could watch the sun rise over the jungle each morning and the sun set over the ocean each evening from the room. We enjoyed Breakfast overlooking the ocean and the awesome infinity pool. Absolutely breathtaking!

Oh My Gosh!! I would rate this above 10!! I am so glad we switched to Hotel La Mariposa! I LOVED OUR TIME THERE! The views are spectacular and the pool was absolutely fabulous. I so appreciate that they put two couples side by side in the front and the 3rd couple right about us. This place is a MUST for anyone wondering were to stay in Manuel Antonio! It is worth every penny. The breakfast was good, the ambiance was relaxing the the views are to die for! LOVED IT! Plus we got great videos of a sloth climbing the tree by the bar!

This hotel had the most spectacular views from almost any area, with a beautiful infinity pool. the staff was polite but a bit stuffy.
