Sauna was off. Breakfast a bit disappointing as run out of few things, juices tirned into water etc

The hotel was close to the AirPort and the Main road, and very noisy. We has 2 rooms, and The rooms could have been Closer to eachother.

Perfectly good experience at the hotel where we had a short night before heading to the airport at 5 am. We were supposed to have a king and two doubles and all three beds were doubles but we are adaptive sort of people and no one slept great worrying about getting up at 4 am anyway. Sorry to miss the breakfast; front desk was very nice and sent someone else very nice to deal with a problem with the safe right away.

Hotel was a bit scruffy and had lots of marks on the walls where people had banged suitcases, etc against them probably. The dining room was dreary and staff often seemed to be in the kitchen away from the dining room.

A bit of a cramped airport hotel, and the room had a musty smell. (It looked clean, but smelled not so good.)

Can’t rate value because we don’t know the actual price although for an over night stay it was good

light outside our window, couldnt find dark shade. lighting too dim for reading

Second room at this hotel was fine

We got in late and just got a bite to eat and spent the night but the hotel was fine.

The second time we stayed the WiFi did not reach the room.

Nice property

The hotel was in a convenient location to the hotel, and had everything we needed. The room was uniquely shaped (2 story). There was no elevator to the room- this was fine for us but could be a problem for some. The pool was nice but cold. The breakfast was ok.

Hotel rooms were very clean.

Rooms are very small, not much to do near the hotel, but it was fine.

Functional, nothing special. Not a terrific location for restaurants.

Close to airport, clean. Not somewhere to vacation for extended period of time but perfect to fly in
And fly out of.

The hotel was fine for one night. The breakfast was very good.

We were arranged to the same small room. Because it is just one night, I did not care too much. Breakfast is great.

The first big room with sofa and table had strong smoke smell. The stuff was trying turn on big fan to suck away the smell, but could not suck away the smell. Then we were changed to a very small room with no chair.

This was a small, mediocre hotel and I'm glad it was only for 2 nights

Small rooms and bathrooms. We got a very noisy room all the way on the third floor which was a pain for one night.

Air conditioning in our room noisy. Also some noise from outdoor vents?

Good for one night stay on arrival and prior to departure. Would not want this to be our only destination in Costa Rica.

This was a nice hotel for the city.

Great resting stop after long flight. They arranged a personal tour of the city with fun driver.

Room was small

I expected less for the price. The agents were really nice. They allowed me to "try Spanish" on them.

VERY small rooms, staff was very accommodating - but we had to get another room with a King size bed so all of us would be able to sleep comfortably. No elevators, which is difficult with my arthritis. Nce breakfast buffet.

Everything was fine since we were only staying one night, but if I wouldn't want to stay here longer. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The hotel itself is laid out a little strangely. We needed 2 rooms and were put in 2 different buildings. There wasn't an elevator so we had to haul our luggage up 3 flights. The room wasn't down a hallway it was basically in the stairwell. The bed and pillow weren't that comfortable and the air conditioner was very noisy.

Very small rooms, but clean and staff was nice. We were only there for a few hours of sleep, then off to airport early the next morning. So only real comment is the room size.

It was all really great but we had to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs and we were really tired by then, so it was very hard work.

We were there less than 12 hours. Clean, comfortable and close to the airport.

Front desk reception very friendly.

There was no bar at the hotel & general location for things outside the hotel were poor.

would have liked a fridge and an area that had some food options

Arriving late we checked into an unrenovated room. On our return, we requested a renovated room which was good. Breakfast and service was great.

Just there for overnight...but everything was great...they even gave us a breakfast to go.

Met our expectations just fine. A jacuzzi would have been a nice addition but no worries. The restaurant was quite good! Very adequate for a airport waiting hotel. Not where you want to stay long term but a good hotel for proximity to airport.

The bathroom was very tiny.

nothing great, just a place

Friendly and helpful staff. Good Breakfast.

Only there one short evening, but it met all of our needs. Was great receiving an envelope upon check in with details pertaining to pickup the next morning.

Please do not send other clients to this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is extremely noisy. It is very worn and dated, no hot water, bad smell covered up by worse smelling room deodorant. Horrible place.

It's an OK airport hotel. Comfortable & clean. The restaurant was OK but there was no bar, as advertised.

we had a nice room, a quite stay and I loved to sit an afternoon at the pool. The food was very nice

the room was very old and smelled a bit

Further than we thought to San Jose

Just a hotel near the airport. Hard to find a place to have dinner.

Hotel was just a basic hotel near the airport. The wait was very long for our room, even though the hotel was barely occupied. The woman behind the counter would not give us a different room however, she insisted that check-in wasn't until 4:00 so if we had to wait in the lobby for a long time, so be it. After over an hour, a nice man came to work the counter with her and immediately gave us the room keys and comped us two drinks to make up for the inconvenience. Restaurant staff was very nice however.

The staff made us box breakfast since we were leaving so early for our flight which was appreciated

Our rooms were located in a building that felt more like staff quarters or a dormitory, than a hotel. The rooms were dingy and our two young teenage sons were put in a room on a completely separate floor from us. It was not what we were expecting at all. Given we were leaving early the next day and tired from a day of travel, it wasn't worth the effort to try to get new rooms.

OK for an airport hotel. Food in the restaurant was not good.

Very nice, friendly, and helpful people. Great atmosphere, food, location. Overall absolutely nothing negative to say. Would highly recommend.

The bathroom was really small with the design of the counter causing the toilet seat cover to press against your back when using the toilet. Strange design and uncomfortable. It was a clean, small, room but after we had stayed in such nice hotels the entire trip this hotel did not really compare but I think chose a cheaper hotel at the end of the trip so we could stay a few more days?? It was fine.

No hand towels or washcloths. We were told we could have called and asked for them. The property is nice but the room needs updating especially the bath rooms.

an ordinary hotel - nothing special

Stayed in the newer rooms and really liked it! So much better than the older building. Made a big difference.

Clean comfortable, nice pool, exceptionally helpful and pleasant staff

Typical of this type of hotel I suppose...glad we were there only one night

We stayed in the older part of the hotel on our first night of our trip and the newer building on our last day of our trip. The older building is in need of an update. Loved the restaurant!

Clean andquiet

we were only in the hotel about 6 hours.

We arrived at the airport after midnight, then left the next morning after breakfast. The breakfast was great. Carrying luggage up and down flights was the only inconvenience. It would've been nice if they had other ramps, like they did at the front entrance, so we could roll our luggage or maybe some elevators for 2nd or 3rd floors.

Would not stay here again and would NOT recommend to others.
Ventilation-poor. Hotel had a very loud group of people overnight and did nothing to quiet them. We contacted the hotel and they apologized.

Had to carry our luggage up and down stairs which was a bit inconvenient

familiar now with hotel and area from the first night of the trip so lowered expectations and enjoyed the stay more, we were in a nicer room than the first time, area surrounding hotel is still dull after such an amazing trip but again meets the needs of an overnight airport hotel and the breakfast is good

Split level (stairs to bed on upper level) was an inconvenience.

Fine place to stay for the night, good place for in transit. Long way out of downtown area. Restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant.

we unfortunately had lots of little bugs on our bed comforter when we first arrived because a window had been left open, that we had to make sure were not bedbugs. the bedding was promptly changed and we were offered to change rooms but we had already unpacked. the overall experience rating is more reflective of the area and not the hotel but met our expectations as a quick layover airport hotel.Breakfast is really good, its too bad the pool water is freezing, staff super friendly

The room was not as comfortable this time.

Obviously this was just a basic hotel upon arrival. The room set-up was a bit weird and limited dining options. Would suggest something closer to the City Mall.

Good hotel. proximity to alternative dining options right outside the hotel was a plus

Didn't really like this particular hotel; a/c conditioner made a lot of noise, and the hotel was pretty dated. Breakfast just okay compared to others.

Excellent as before

Very professional ,super services and very pleasant staff.

Did not like the soups. It was difficult to get to breakfast since didn't open til 6 am and our transfer was later.

A bit outdated and the area has a lot of traffic. The coffee machine was dirty on the inside so I couldn't use it. What I liked was that the suite had 2 separate rooms which was nice and the staff was very nice.

Nice hotel. Bed and rooms were very nice. They upgraded us for the anniversary which was a nice treat. Restaurant was okay, food was pretty limited but it was fine for 1 night. Breakfast was good.

This hotel was a bit too basic for my taste - staff was very friendly and food was better than expected but not in a great area so we couldn't walk around and the hotel was dated - if I do this again I will spend a bit more and stay in an area where we can walk around, get a little of the feel of the city - this was totally on me though I should have thought more about this.

We were in a room that was on a noisy hallway. We didn't know that it would be that way until we tried to go to sleep. The breakfast was average. The hotel was clean, and it was an ok stop the for getting to the airport the next morning.

It was okay for a one night stay. Probably not for a long stay restraint service was very slow event when barely anyone was there.

Beautiful place. Restaurant was so so. When we asked for a taxi they gave us the hotel shuttle which was very expensive. We felt taken advantage of. Other than that it was nice.

hotel was fine, just not the same as the others, as expected a city/airport hotel.

room quite old dated style... could bear some reno

It was a place to sleep and close to the airport. Not as nice or quiet a room as on our day of arrival, but plenty acceptable.

Great rooms.....

The swimming pool was closed for renovations - it would have been nice to use it.

Had to wait 3 hours to get into our room. Although room was "ready" it obviously had not been vacuumed in living area. Ate at hotel for dinner - 2 steak meals were so tough as to be inedible. Would have preferred room on ground floor as taking luggage down stairs was a pain in the morning!

It was noisy, but not terribly so. Hard to rate the value as I do not know the cost of each place we stayed at. The room was very nice and I slept very well.

It was good hotel but other hotels we got on this trips were much better. The restaurant in this hotel was not good.

This was a usual 'near the airport' hotel. The restaurant was rather overpriced. However, the desk staff was extremely helpful.
