Your journey begins with a choice between traversing the tree canopy on hanging bridges or soaring through it on a zip-line. Following the morning excitement, you will plunge down a massive 400-meter (1,200-foot) jungle waterslide. After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious lunch that will provide the energy needed for the next leg of your journey: a scenic horseback ride through the lush primary forest.

What truly sets this experience apart from standard tours is the Extreme Canopy Tour. This upgraded course features a new network of cables and platforms that cross deep canyons and soaring forests. The adventure includes a ¼-mile hike through the primary forest, leading you to a circuit of 12 platforms and 7 cables ranging from 300 to 1,155 feet in length, with dizzying heights of up to 300 feet. Along the way, you’ll pause at strategic lookout points to capture photos of the Gulf of Papagayo, the rolling mountain hills, and the majestic Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. During the rainy season, you will even be treated to views of the spectacular "El Cañón" waterfall.

For the ultimate rush, the canopy tour concludes with our signature Tarzan Swing. Securely harnessed, you will launch into a heart-pounding 150-foot free fall before swinging out over the canyon floor. Throughout the day, keep your eyes peeled for Costa Rica’s abundant wildlife, including monkeys, tropical birds, and other native species inhabiting the forest.
