The highland opening at Savegre Mountain Hotel focuses on guided birdwatching in San Gerardo de Dota’s cooler forest. La Cusinga in Uvita then provides a South Pacific base for a whale-and-dolphin outing and an open beach day. Rafiki closes the trip with a rainforest stay in the Savegre Valley, where the free day can remain quiet or include a separately arranged activity. Highland birds, the marine coast and inland rainforest make this an eight-day nature circuit with distinct habitats rather than three versions of the same forest stop.
