Yes, there are baggage restrictions on domestic flights. Sansa and Nature Air are the two domestic flight airlines. Each has their own policies as follows:
Nature Air has several options, which range from 15 – 40 pounds based on which fare class you purchase.
If you have reserved your flight through us, unless otherwise explicitly written, you can bring one checked bag weighing up to 27 pounds. It cannot exceed 50 linear inches (length + width + height).
1 – 5 pounds - $7
6 – 15 pounds - $20
16 – 30 pounds - $40
31 – 60 pounds - $60
Oversized luggage or bags will be charged as cargo and are subject to space and availability. In the event that it cannot be brought on your flight, it will be delivered on the next available flight. You will be required to make the arrangements to pick it up at your expense (we can assist with arrangements to help you, but are not liable for this or the charge).
You can also bring a carry-on bag weighing up to 10 pounds. It cannot exceed 33 linear inches (length + width + height).
All information is subject to change on this page without notice or liability to Pacific Trade Winds. We encourage you to visit the Nature Air website to see their current policies regarding baggage.
Sansa allows passengers to check one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 30 pounds and 45 linear inches (length + width + height).
The excess weight fee is $1 per additional pound. In such case, the bag will be considered excess baggage or cargo and will subject to space and availability.
It cannot exceed 20 linear inches (length + width + height). In addition to your carry on, you may also bring an umbrella, book, laptop, purse, coat, binoculars, camera, or items to be consumed by an infant during the flight.
