Get ready for an amazing and breathtaking experience! Today’s tour is a wet and wild rappelling adventure down a 180-foot waterfall! You’ll be picked up from your hotel and brought to Ocean Ranch Park outside of Jaco. There you’ll meet your guides who will fit you with a harness and helmet while going over safety procedures. Then you’ll hike into the jungle until you come to the top of the beautiful El Encanto Waterfall. The guides will safely secure you to the rappelling lines and off you go on an exciting descent down the face of the falls! This tour includes admission, bilingual guides, all safety equipment, snacks and transportation from Jaco or Herradura. One way transport can take from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on where you are staying. The entire tour can take from 2.5 to 3.5 hours including round trip transportation. Please wear completely enclosed, non-skid shoes, and bring a dry change of clothing, insect repellent, rain gear, plus your camera. This is a moderate to difficult activity that requires some hiking up a mountain. But the thrill of the rappel makes it all worthwhile.

Today you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Playa Aquajas. With the help of your bilingual guide you will climb into a two person ocean kayak providing stability if it should be windy. As you paddle over the ocean it is sometimes possible to see dolphins, whales and sea turtles depending on the season. You’ll come to a protected cove to go snorkeling where you’ll be surrounded by colorful fish. Your guide will bring a cooler to a white sand beach where you can enjoy refreshments, explore the island or just relax. Afterward you will get into your kayaks and paddle back to the mainland. This snorkeling and kayaking tour includes kayaks, bilingual guide, fruit snacks, beverages, and transportation from Jaco and the Palo Seco-Esterillos area. One way transport from your hotel to the put in point can take between 15 and 30 minutes depending on where you are picked up. Combined time of kayaking, snorkeling and round trip transportation typically takes between 3.5 and 4.5 hours. Please bring along sunscreen, bathing suit, towel, hat, sun-protective clothing for kayaking, and a waterproof camera. Note: this tour requires at least two people to sign up.

Your group will meet at the Los Suenos Resort marina where you will be escorted from a private dock onto the “Hattadreams” luxury yacht. You will cruise a short distance from the marina into a calm bay, anchor and wait for the sunset, while enjoying liquid refreshments. This private sunset tour is designed for your party of 8 although the yacht can accommodate up to 20 passengers at an extra charge for each additional person in your party.
