Today you will go on a great combination tour including zip ling and walking through the canopy of the cloud forest! This adventure starts by taking a gondola style cable car some 1600 meters up through the clouds until you’re high up on the Continental Divide. Next you go through a safety course before zipping down 8 cables with platforms placed at various vantage points within the forest canopy. The longest cable is 770 meters and the highest is 130 meters from the ground. You will then go on a moderate level guided hike over trails and hanging bridges that will give you a bird’s eye view from up in the cloud forest canopy. This 5 hour tour includes transportation entrance and guide. Note: the order of activities is subject to change. Please note that from October 11 to 18, 2024, the Sky Tram segment of the tour will be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance procedures. Sky Tram, Trek, and Walk - Sky Adventures Arenal

Today you will go on the Sky Tram, Trek and Walk adventure. This adventure starts off by taking a gondola style cable car some 1250 meters up through the rainforest canopy to a jungle covered hilltop in front of the imposing Arenal Volcano. You then go through a brief safety course and you are on your way zipping from platform to platform down 7 cables as you make your way to the bottom of the hill.
If all of that was not enough, you will then go on a 2.2 mile moderate level guided hike over trails and bridges that will give you a birds eye view of the cloud forest canopy. This approximately 6 hour tour includes transportation and guide. Important: Guests must present a valid document or photo verifying the age of children upon entering the park. Minimum Age 5 years old, Height Required: 3.69 feet, and 300 pounds maximum weight. Not recommended for people with knee, back, heart, muscle or bones problems, mobility issues or people who have had surgeries within the last year.
PRIVATE Arenal Hanging Bridges Tour

The PRIVATE Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. All of the 12 bridges vary in height and length and provide an interesting way to observe the rainforest canopy. In addition to learning about the jungle, you may also be fortunate enough to see wild animals such as monkeys, sloths, toucans, or iguanas. Wildlife observation is not guaranteed on this tour but often occurs and your guide will be ready with a spotting scope should animals decide to make an appearance. It is important to mention that open sandals or shoes are NOT permitted on this tour. This fun filled half day tour includes guides, transportation, and entrance to the private reserve.
This supplier maintains a zero-plastic policy, so no water bottles will be offered, only a refrigerated water dispenser for visitors to refill their own reusable bottles.
IMPORTANT: From April 15 - May 31, 2025, we will carry out preventive maintenance that cannot be postponed on the El Tolomuco Suspension Bridge. The Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. All of the 15 bridges vary in height and length and provide an interesting way to observe the rainforest canopy. In addition to learning about the jungle, you may also be fortunate enough to see wild animals such as monkeys, sloths, toucans, or iguanas. Wildlife observation is not guaranteed on this tour but often occurs and your guide will be ready with a spotting scope should animals decide to make an appearance. It is important to mention that open sandals or shoes are NOT permitted on this tour. Then you will visit the famous La Fortuna Waterfalls. A professional bilingual guide will accompany you to the observation platform at the top of the falls. You can then choose to take the 70 meter (225 foot) hike down to the base of the falls for a refreshing swim, or just relax and enjoy the view from above. Please be sure to inform us of any health conditions that may affect your ability to participate in the hike. NOTE: This activity is not recommended for children under 5 years old and parents will need to stay with all children throughout the hike.

The Sky Walk and Hanging Bridges Tour is an amazing way to observe the rainforest from both ground level and right in the tree tops! The hike is along a 3.6 kilometer trail where a naturalist guide will help you to spot wildlife and tell you about the surrounding jungle and volcano. This half day adventure includes transportation and guide. Open sandals or shoes are NOT permitted, make sure you bring sturdy closed toe shoes. Important: Guests must present a valid document or photo verifying the age of children upon entering the park.

Today you will go on an enlightening day of adventure at the Sky Adventures Arenal Park as you go on the Sky Tram and Sky Walk combo tour. The Sky Walk tour is led by a bilingual naturalist guide. You will hike 2.2 miles through trails in the rainforest and also a series of five suspension bridges in search of wildlife in the canopy. The Sky Tram tour is taken on a gondola through and above the canopy from the Sky reception area to the top of the hill where there is an observation platform. You can also choose to take a short walk on a trail at the top if you like. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation from your La Fortuna area hotel. The access to the main trail will remain open as normal. In the Velvet Bridge area, visitors will take a marked shortcut, which will allow them to descend to a small stream and enjoy the natural environment before rejoining the main trail.
